Happiness is a gift from the Lord. And to what Christ taught as such in the beatitude, we are supposed to be happy in Christ. For sure it’s a difficult task. But remember we are called to be happy. Not of the world for the prince of the world delights in opulence. But our Lord’s heart lays on a bed of suffering leading us to the utmost blissful path.
The road to heaven is narrower yet deeper. If we are to live in this superficially adorned world pleasing our senses and especially our stomach, don’t forget our body is not meant for eternity. And our deeds for the soul will transform our bodies for the eternal life on the day of the last judgement.
To be in Christ requires two important keys. Suffering and persistence. And just by unlocking the door to suffering and persistence we are sophisticated to a higher level of bliss. Here, the suffering continues, the pain aggravates yet our soul remains calm. The soothing presence of Christ his Holy Spirit and the overprotective Heavenly Father attributes to a heaven on this earth.
Almost all Saints known and unknown have been through this magnificent transformation. I m telling you only few are chosen. But remember every human being can reach this joy and they should. For I have had only Christ. I absorb his love. His passion. I have agreed to be in his scourging. Help me O Lord! To carry this cross the way you wish.
